The Saudi Arabia Scouting Society Strategy

The Scientific and practical system which the Saudi Arabia scout Association takes is over continues in following the strategicall planning methodology for its activities and systems.
However. This on hand evidence is to determine its development track and the Saudi Arabia Scout Association’ care to be it’s statically plan for the next five years consisted with the state policy in protecting the Islamic values, confirming the loyalty to the homeland and, developing the humanity resources and increasing it’s productivity, so that, the Association’ efforts will be integrated with the Education Institute’ efforts in achieving a high level to the Saudi citizen capacities.
The Association in it’s strategy relies on several facts, most important:
- The current reality for the scouting in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- The previous plans achievement reports and the remarks that recorded during implementation.
- Futuristic and current capacities.
- The aspirations that supervisors in Association have exalted for the Scouting' future in The Kingdom of Saudi  Arabia which is  based on scientific studies and practical researches.
- The strategy of developing Arab Scouting 2001-2010 consulted by Arab Scouting Organization represented in the general fidelity.
In spite of the importance of strategical  plans generally ,Education and youth area especially however, the association of Saudi Arabia Scouting Association strategy has meditated plan that gives her a high grade of flexibility where the executors can coexist with the regional, Arab international changes and at the same time it ensures satisfying the reborn needs for the scout's member.
The association has concentrated  in its current strategy and after the previous first stage evaluation on the scout unit which represents the scout vital and for the sake of the scout who takes part in this unit, it was our essential main aim and our next vision.
Asking the Almighty god to help who are responsible of executing this strategy.

1. The development plans for the Saudi Arabia Kingdom.
2. The universal strategy.
3. the plan of completing the strategy of the Arab scouting movement development. (2005-2010 AD)
4. Evaluating the first stage  of the scouting society  strategy. (1422 – 1426 A.H)

The elements of the strategy:
 First: The mission spreading the scouting movement in the Saudi Arabia kingdom, organizing and developing it to contribute in the integral education for the scouting members according to its principles and its way.
 Second: The values the originality, efficiency, creation and opening to the society.

a. Islamic Arabic originality that commits to the scout's principles and way.
b. The efficiency of all what we produce of panels and guidebooks, and what we execute of plans and programs.
c. Creation aims to development, distinction and contemporary.
d. Opening to the society in all its programs  and activities.
Third: Time range:
Five years start from the beginning of 1427 A.H, and end at the end of 1432 AH.
Fourth: The vision: at the end of five years 2500 unit will be pursued the scouting way developed.
Fifth: The decisions:
1- Improving the performance of the scouting way.
2- Creating a positive image about the scout.
3- Developing the performance of leaderships.
4- Developing the financial resources.
5- Developing the relationships between the society and its scouting sectors.
Sixth: General purposes:
1) The right performance for the scouting courses.
2) Forming the scouting units.
3) Spreading the scouting culture.
4) Openness to society.
5) Containing rehabilitation of leaders to enable them to perform their roles.
6) Supporting the leaders technically for practicing their roles efficiently.
7) Encouraging the leaders to perform their role effectively.
8) Expanding in scouting fund's investments.
9) Varying the income resources.
10) Recreation the systematic framework.
